Meet Levitate
Hey! I’m Adrienne – a 25-year-old Registered Dietitian based in Toronto, Ontario. I’m so happy that we found our way to each other. Welcome to the Levitate fam!
I launched Levitate in 2025 after noticing a frustrating disconnect during my dietetic training: while the health benefits of plant-based eating are well-established, most people still aren’t reaching for plant-based proteins. And honestly? I get it. Along the way, I’ve heard (and had) all the same concerns:
“I’m not sure about soy – I’ve heard it’s not good for you.”
“What do I do with this block of mush floating in water?”
“It’s more expensive than the meat option, so why would I choose it?”
“Is this even healthy? It’s packed with sodium and ultra-processed…”
“It doesn’t have enough protein.”
Totally valid. I’ve been there myself — confused, skeptical, and trying to make better choices without sacrificing taste or simplicity.
So, I set out to create a plant-based protein that doesn’t make you choose between health, taste, or convenience. Levitate’s lupin tempeh is formulated with purpose: it’s soy-free, low in sodium, minimally processed, and packed with fibre and complete protein (yes, all 9 essential amino acids).
